Reflections

Confucius was a very wise man. His ideas of moral values lead him to become a very important person. He demonstrates that showing respect to others and giving the best we can in all of our things, we can get the respect and affection of others. I think that every good ruler most follow Confucius ideals because, for what I read, I could said that being a ruler needs to have the loyal and obedience of their people and rulers can obtain that, by treating kindly his people. Confucius said that if we organize our future we will live our present in a better way, knowing what to do without having big problems. He also teaches that if we want others to valorize us, first we have to valorize ourselves and that’s so true. Other thing that I think that Confucius is right, is that we have to study to improve ourselves not to impress other people. There are many things I think Confucius is right and that not only the rulers must do but everyone.

Confucianism

Confucianism is the name given to Confucius’s teachings that shows the importance of having moral values in order to receive respect for others and to be a good man. It focuses on human morality and wrong action. All his teachings were used so that the state could be governed by moral virtue rather than by the use of coercive laws.


What I think

I am in agreement with what Confucius said. I think that moral values are very important in everyone’s life. All that he said teach us like tips so we can get a better life with others and with ourselves. It is important to mention that if we demand more of ourselves than of others, like Confucius says, we will have a better life, learning every day more of what we want to be in the future and how in that way we are going to obtain respect and loyalty of others.

Panchatantra

Panchatantra

Panchatantra means five and tantra means ways, strategies or principles. Panchatantra is a collection of five books that contain told stories about the five ways that help the human being succeed in life and represents the earliest folk tale form in the world of literature. The original author’s name is unknown. The stories have been translated into a lot of languages around the world. They are all about surviving in a complicated world and the different ways to get over the problems. The Panchtantra is a great book where plants and animals can speak and converse with human beings.

The five strategies are:

• Discord among friends
• Gaining friends Imprudence
• Loss of gains and
• Of crows and owls

I think that Panchatantra is a very useful collections of books that help little and grown up people. The strategies shown there are demonstrated with different kinds of animated characters that I think it help the reader to be more enthusiasm and to learn more.
